PRESIDENTS HEADS

When Virginia’s Presidents Park went bust in 2010 from a lack of visitors, the question about what to do with forty three, 20’ tall cement sculptures weighing upward to 20 tons each became quite the conundrum. Destroying them didn’t seem right so they were moved to in a 400-acre field in Croaker Virginia which turned out to be a perfect place to begin photography lessons with a client last week. We purchased “dusk” tickets from John Plashal who has found quite the niche selling tickets to photographers, school groups and tourists from all over the world.
