Yosemite Valley
Summer, spring and winter images of my favorite place in the world besides home.
Bill took me to Yosemite for the first time and we cancelled everything we had to do thereafter because I couldn't leave. This gallery is dedicated to him.
I was "sent" back to Yosemite in April of 2012 and took "The Art of Seeing" with Alan Ross. Digital meets film and they lived happily ever after. I think Ansel Adams would've loved the digital world. I'm thankful for all I continue to learn from him.
Mike and Wilton check settings before developing film in the darkroom.
Dodging and burning...
Ah, my friend, Wilton Wong who shot "Inside City Limits" ....his film images of San Francisco. Look for them.
Tim and instructor, Alan Ross discuss technique among the branches.
It's so hard to be in Yosemite. Really. I'm burdened by the beauty, awed by it all. The next several images are spring time.
Back to Yosemite January 2014
I'm back, moved to tears in el capitan meadow. I'm taking a master class with Michael Frye who put it out there! It was photography bootcamp. Another dream comes true.
Robert Eckhardt
This guy takes the most remarkable photos I've ever seen with very simple cameras...here he is shooting with an iPhone.

Chasing the light in el capitan meadow.

El Cap Meadow Full Moon and Stars
My dad would've loved this and I wished he was there. He turned me on to the night sky and it was in full bloom on this night in January.
